Valentine's little treat surprise pouches
Happy almost Valentine’s Day! I love celebrating holidays, and after January the longest month of the year I really look forward to Valentine’s Day.
I like to give my family members a little gift on this day to show them that how important and loved they are. I think that Valentine’s gifts can be simple and special at the same time. Below I have instructions for three different gift pouches that can be made from a single sheet of paper. They are all so easy to make! Fill them with a little toy or gift, a love note, and some treats. A basic sheet of printer paper is best as it makes them easiest to rip open. I decorated the paper with art supplies that I already had on hand.
Valentine’s Cracker
Supplies: one sheet of paper, toilet paper roll, clear tape, and ribbon

Set a cardboard toilet paper roll on top of the back of a sheet of paper oriented landscape.
Roll the paper around the tube and tape it to secure.
Pinch one end of the paper closed and tie it with a ribbon.
Fill the open end with little treats!
Pinch and tie the other side closed.
Triangle pouch
Supplies: one sheet of paper and tape

Cut a piece of paper into three rectangles.
Tape the short ends of a rectangle together to form a tube.
Close one end of the tube and tape it to secure.
Fill with treats!
Close the open end of the paper perpendicular to the closed end to form a triangle type shape.
Sewn heart pouch
Supplies: one sheet of paper, thread, and sewing machine

Cut two hearts out of a sheet of paper.
Sew the two hearts together leaving a section open.
Stuff little treats in through the open space. I tried to do this while the paper was still on my sewing machine, but it was much easier to snip the thread and take the paper off.
Stitch up the rest of the heart. Be patient and go slowly so that the paper doesn’t rip.
Happy crafting! Thank you for reading!
